It is the reason we came together, and it is the reason we continue to thrive as we do. The pursuit of higher education is essential to life as a Sister of ΥΚΔ. If it were not for the university, none of us would be the Lovely Ladies we are today. So it is only fitting that
we do everything we can to ensure all Sisters have the resources they need to lead a successful academic career. Each Chapter uses various tools to promote the importance of Academics within its active body. A few examples include Study Hours, Rewards Programs, Workshops and Scholarships. Before we can take care of others we need to take care of ourselves.
Sisterhood
The most precious truth about ΥΚΔ is our motto: “A Sisterhood 2 Tight 2 Break,” and this is what sets us apart from the rest. We won’t paint you a perfect picture, or say that things are all-good, all the time. We will tell you however, the relationships you will develop with your Sisters will define the relationships you have in other parts of your life. Yes, our process is not easy, however, the real challenge is being a Sister. We have hills an valleys just like everyone else, but what truly defines ΥΚΔ is how we deal with those obstacles. We never give up! It is through this persistence to continually improve that we develop an undying admiration, respect, and most importantly love for our Letters and for every Sister who has earned the right to wear them.
